Qwest
Qwest MyAccount
I have worked on various aspects of the Qwest MyAccount page (online billing, ordering, and service).

I helped design the Billing and Payments section of the MyAccount Overview page. I implemented back-end Java / J2EE programming to fetch customer data. I coded an XSLT template to transform XML from the back-end to a layout based on customer data such as payment preferences and whether they have a positive or negative balance. I implemented the front-end HTML and CSS which displays the section of the page.

I implemented an XSLT template which dynamically constructs a list of navigation links based on a customer profile for the Bill Details page.

I also designed and implemented numerous internal websites while working for Qwest. Unfortunately these sites contain confidential information and are not publicly accessible.
Denver Press Club
Denver Press Club Archive
To fulfill a requirement for the Web Site Design and Development course at The Art Institute of Colorado I worked with John Ensslin, then president of the Denver Press Club, to design and implement an archive website for the club. The site contains information about the history of the club and Denver, interviews, club events, and careers of many of the club members. As a current event ages off from the club's main page a historical description is moved to this site.

Some of the challenges that I encountered while designing this site were the presentation of large amounts of text, generating a style in keeping with the historical nature of the site, and creating a design that accomodates future growth. The solution uses a liquid layout which allows users with larger displays to see more text immediately.
